Ducting actually covers this heatsink and the air flows IN through the side where the "carpet" of dust is. NOT GOOD! This owner got very lucky his processor didn't burnout from the heat build up, it was only a matter of time.

The fan on this PSU was turning, but not as fast as it should be. This will cause the PSU to over heat.

Hard Drive Vents

The hard drive sits in a steel cage vertically at this location at the front of the case. These holes are the air vents to help keep it cool. Notice 3/4's of the holes are blocked. The hard drive over heated and is now dead.

Rear of Power Supply

This is the back of the power supply. It's bad enough the fan was impaired some but there would be little air flow through the PSU anyway!!
